Cinnamon Cindy Bud

Bid in the DPW Auction

It's been a long time since I have posted anything! In fact this year has been the least I have painted for a long time. I almost feel like a beginner!! Eye problems have been the main reason but hopefully it will be better when I have new glasses! This painting is the first of two...the second is the flower from this bud which I will post tomorrow.

Running short on time again but had to paint this view of my favorite place to walk in the mornings.

There are so many different views around this estuary!

My third and last mini still life for the time being. These are from my garden...it's great to have subject matter right outside my door!

The second mini still life! Tamarillos are in season here, I loved painting these  and the best part is  being able to eat it afterwards. Lovely fruit!!

I saw these seagulls fishing along the shoreline on one of my morning walks a while ago. The swoop and follow the fish along. I am often amazed at the sights I see when I take my time to really look at my surroundings.

There is a green theme going on in this painting..could be because it is one of my favorite colors!

I have been wanting to paint this vase since I bought it...perfect opportunity!
