This is the last painting until next year! I thought this would be an easy one to slip in before Christmas but NO it was not!! I struggled with it. The apple was ok but I probably won't paint another composition with the spoon placed like this! Terrible trouble with getting the silver spoon to look shiny.

Here is something to sweeten your day!!  Love these sweetheart jellybeans, a little bit of sugar never hurt anyone!! Initially I had these in a jar but found this white hors d'oeuvres spoon did a much better job of showing their color off...and is less boring than a jar!! I have as much fun finding props as I do painting!

I came across this olive painting...it's one of a series I did last year and had  forgotton about. I haven't been doing any painting and won't be able to until later next week...I'm still on hloiday and thouroughly enjoying it!!

These marshmellows were left over from Christmas, I'm not sure where the blue plastic spoon came from... and the turquoise bowl is a favorite one of mine, given to me by an art friend. I am still having trouble with some images, I'm not sure if it's blogger or not but they seem darker when I upload them here! This looks much better in life!!

Time has been against me the last week and I have just started to get around to painting!! I am trying my best to stay nice to be around grrrr! This is one I did a few weeks ago...I like painting silver and  had fun painting the spoon! Here's hoping I get to do more this week!!

My lunch today! I was about to eat this boiled egg... it looked so good with the silver spoon and eggcup, I set it up so I could draw it first. It was cold by the time I finished so I had to boil another one!  The things I do for the sake of art!!!

I did not know what to draw today!  My mind was blank! I usually have an idea of what I want to do...but not today!! I looked at my plate sitting on the bench before breakfast and thought it would be easy to draw...it wasn't!! The spoon was easy but the plate did my head in, however I  got it done... after screwing up the first try this is it!
