Stitchin' Time

6"x6" Oil on gessoboard
$90 +s/h

This is the last in this cotton series for a while, I found a set of plastic colored thimbles, and crochet hooks so I will have more to come later.  I do have fun setting these subjects up, it's almost like being a set designer for a stage production!!

Marshmellows

6"x6" Oil on gessoboard

These marshmellows were left over from Christmas, I'm not sure where the blue plastic spoon came from... and the turquoise bowl is a favorite one of mine, given to me by an art friend. I am still having trouble with some images, I'm not sure if it's blogger or not but they seem darker when I upload them here! This looks much better in life!!

Brie with Grapes

6"x6" Oil on board

I  hunted around to find the right plate for this set up and...I found this green one in the supermarket! It's plastic, I love the color and it was a challenge as I've never painted plastic before! These grapes are the last of this season and are so sweet with the brie cheese...it's a match made in heaven!
