Morning Reflections

Day Twenty-One-30 Paintings in 30 Days
8"x6" Oil on board

This is down at the inner harbour early one overcast morning...everything seemed dull except the reflections, the fishing boat was moving along slowly making it's way out to sea. This didn't photograph very well and  looks much better in life, I tried different settings  and this is the best I could do. So annoying when that happens!!

  1. This is beautiful Karen. You captured the tranquility of a quiet morning perfectly.

  2. Beautifully done Karen.
I can understand your frustration about t photographing your work. There are times the photographing goes better than other times.

  3. Your boat and the reflections in the water are just beautiful! Well done!

  4. NIce! Photographing: I just ordered a photo cube tent (already had lights), and a used Spyder monitor. Will post how it works out. Keep painting! Beautiful!

    1. Thanks...I would be interested in how the spyder monitor goes! I already have a photo cube and lights but find they photograph better outside!

  5. Wonderful painting you have captured the calm and peaceful atmosphere very accurately.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and comments, I love reading them...they keep me inspired!
