This is my brush I use to gesso all my boards including the 30 for the challenge, so I thought it deserved to be painted!! I like having a change from landscapes too. Although I'm enjoying this challenge I still find I can't keep ahead...a bit stressful some days! There is no shortage of subjects to paint...it's just making the time!!
Lovely painting,I am glad to hear that I am not the only one feeling the pressure to find the time.
ReplyDeleteGood idea, Karen and well done!
ReplyDeleteKaren, I love today's painting of your little work horse brush. I have enjoyed your paintings on the 30 day challenge. I feel your pain on staying ahead and stressing over it. I've been managing to stay a day ahead but its been difficult at times.
ReplyDeletenice! I love the simplicity.
ReplyDeleteI really like this painting of your brush. Paintings of artists' tools are some of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same as you do about the time. Although, I have art in each and every day I haven't been completing a painting every day. However, this is really good for me. I like the discipline and accountability each day to complete at least one painting. So we'll see where all this leads.
Great idea. Lovely painting!
ReplyDeleteI love this painting well done
ReplyDeleteSo direct and compelling!
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Karen!
ReplyDeleteVery well done!
ReplyDeleteBlogger wouldn't cooperate yesterday, so I'm trying again...this looks so like one I have- it's like the perfect portrait of an old friend!
