Overcast Sky

6"x8" Oil on gessoboard
$100 + s/h

I love the beach on an overcast day....it's peaceful and almost every time the sky is this blue-gray color, the hills are dark blue and the sea a lovely turquoise! This was the calm after rough weather had washed up seaweed! I am steadily getting through my larger paintings...not much time for my small daily work! I am enjoying working bigger and will be doing more, although  I had forgotton  how much time they take!

Morning Reflections

Day Twenty-One-30 Paintings in 30 Days
8"x6" Oil on board

This is down at the inner harbour early one overcast morning...everything seemed dull except the reflections, the fishing boat was moving along slowly making it's way out to sea. This didn't photograph very well and  looks much better in life, I tried different settings  and this is the best I could do. So annoying when that happens!!
