Tulip Sketch

Drawing #63

Pen and watercolor

A very quick sketch!  I bought these Tulips yesterday at the supermarket, I went to buy groceries but when I saw these in this cane pot I couldn't resist buying them as well! I love white flowers!! This is a warm up for  a larger 70x40cm  one in oil!

Mellow Yellow

6x6" Oil on board

SOLD

Another little pot my friend gave me...I have painted the turquoise  and pink ones,  this is the last of them. I love them all and will no doubt use them again in my paintings! The daisies are from my garden and I will probably paint more of them too! I love small pots with just one or two flowers...like to keep it simple!!

I have one more 20x20in  painting of this rose to finsh...the turquoise pot was left here by one of my art friends after an afternoon of painting and the rose was given to me to paint, so here it is!

Pin Cushion Pot

SOLD

Back on the sewing theme again! I saw this little pin cushion pot in my neighbours sewing box and loved it so much that I borrowed it and dressed it up! It fits in nicely with my cotton series.
