Where's My Hairdresser?

6"x6" Oil on gessoboard

I had the title for this before I painted it! It was my first thought when I saw the woolly mess...she definitely needs a good wash and haircut!! Sheep aren't very colorful but I love painting them...I used a limited palette of  raw umber, ultramarine blue,yellow ochre and white for this.

    this is just fantastic - I even zoomed in and still can't figure out how you make the wool so wooly! Kudos to you.
