Olives and Brie Cheese

Drawing #38
Pen and watercolor

Late posting this one...had a busy day and went out for dinner tonight...no olives and brie though! I finished a small painting today that I will post tomorrow,  also some of my very late newsletter done! I have painted olives and cheese in oil but this is the first time in watercolor...I prefer the oil but it was a good exercise!

  1. There is a whimsical feel to this I really like. I presume the cocktail fork has a red end which adds the perfect touch to the row of olives.
The graphite drawing of the flower is beautiful and you nailed the china with that perfect highlight.
