More food... I think by now you can tell I love all of it! There is always so much to choose from at the Farmers Market, all the colors look so nice,I can't help myself I just have to buy it...but I love to paint it first!

We painted apples yesterday in my workshop, so this was a perfect challenge to paint another one today...this one was about paying attention to values, easy in black and white but more difficult in color. I have been concentrating on values and edges lately, trying to loosen up a little. Not easy for me!

Camembert, Crackers and Chilli Jam

Homemade chilli jam...so nice with camembert cheese and crackers!  I wanted to paint this  because I love the jam...I have painted glass jars before, but they usually have water in them and are clear. This was a bit of a challenge to get the jam looking translucent.

My friend has a garden full of beautiful flowers and whenever I visit I end up coming home with some of them!

I thought this red one was the pick of the bunch, it was starting to open and looked so  fresh...just lovely!

Another one in the cotton series...this is a bit different from the reels of cotton I usually do. I enjoyed painting the silver in this, the thimble has some subtle color reflections that I like. I still have more to come but they will be different colors...I've been painting a lot of blue and need a change!

I had a bit of a problem thinking of a title for this one, for some reason my mind went blank!  It  nearly took more time to think of a name than it did to paint it...I have wanted to paint these  big buttons for a while, I love their bright colors... this is number six in my cotton series.

These ewes are in a paddock not far from where I live, I'm not sure if they are just enjoying the sunshine...but going by the look on their faces they sure look happy! Couldn't resist painting them.
