Standing Room

6"x6" Oil on board
SOLD

I came across this gull standing on one of the many rocks along the beach, with just enough standing room to take in the morning sunshine. This is the first painting I have been able to do this week! I have nearly finished three other paintings and managed a drawing every day so all in all not too bad going!! Still have a newsletter waiting to be started!

Drawing #23

Day #2 in  Leslie Saeta's 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge!  So far so good, but it's early days! I am feeling enthusiastic and positive...just have to hope there are no wipers! This is another part of the Estuary...it's a special place for me as far as painting goes, there is so much color and everyday the light changes...there is always something to paint!! Love it!!

Girls Day Out

6"x6"Oil On board

These ewes are in a paddock not far from where I live, I'm not sure if they are just enjoying the sunshine...but going by the look on their faces they sure look happy! Couldn't resist painting them.
