6"x6" Oil on gessoboard
Some more bottles! These old bottles I found when we moved house, they had been stuck in the back of a cupboard for years.... I used to use them for sauce but haven't for a long time, I enjoyed painting them so there will be more later on!!
Simply beautiful, Karen - love the composition & color palette!
ReplyDeleteThanks...I'm always trying to keep the composition simple Chris!
DeleteI never cease to be amazed. Something so common is so beautiful
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon, I loved painting them, I'm getting to like glass!
DeleteBeautifully painted Karen! Love the composition, looking forward to more.
ReplyDeleteThanks Helen!
DeleteSerenely beautiful. You are a master at glass.
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, what a fantastic job you have done with the bottles! You've captured the shine and reflections perfectly. I am particularly mesmerised by the green one and love the light blue highlights. Perfect composition too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Wendy! I enjoyed painting these, I like the softer colors.
DeleteLovely painting of your bottles. I have long imagined that glass containers, water and people's hands are among the most difficult subjects for painting.
ReplyDeleteThanks Terra. I think the hands are the most difficult!
