Time for a bit of a change! I like the difference in the size and shape of these bottles. I love the blue with the green and the marbles too.  To top it off they are standing on my glass palette...my favorite thing to use when painting still life. So it really is... all about glass!!

This is the last in this cotton series for a while, I found a set of plastic colored thimbles, and crochet hooks so I will have more to come later.  I do have fun setting these subjects up, it's almost like being a set designer for a stage production!!

Another for my cotton series! There will be a few more to come in between other subjects. I loved painting the colored pins...I think this subject is one of my favorites, probably because I have good memories of when I used to sew all the time... and that is another form of creativity!!

My first painting for 2015!! I managed a small one to start the year. This is another of my ongoing cotton series, most of the others have sold! I was going to cut back on my smaller works this year and concentrate on larger ones...I don't think this is going to happen, I still enjoy painting small they are fun and it's such good practice so I  will do them as well!
